Q: What’s the difference between 3 and 4 layers of door soundproofing?
A: We use a minimum of 3 layers (damper, insulator, absorber) for effective results. The 4th layer is an extra sheet applied to the outer metal frame for added noise reduction. However, not all car models have enough space for this additional layer.

Q: Which soundproofing material is better?
A: Both materials are designed for different needs. Value for Bucks is ideal if you want a quieter ride without upgrading your audio system. STP Standartplast is thicker and firmer, delivering better overall noise reduction and performance. 

Q: Why do some wheel arches have two layers of soundproofing?
A: This depends on the car’s design. For models with fabric-upholstered wheel wells, the material can’t be applied directly to the fabric. In such cases, both layers are installed on the wheel arch instead to ensure proper adhesion and effectiveness.
